You will have seen in the local papers that Veolia, the Waste Management Company, has granted Bentley Heath Community Centre almost £25,000 to refurbish the kitchen, toilets and windows. BHCA has to contribute 20% of the total cost of the works – about £6.2k.
This is a huge boost for the centre and thanks go to the Management Committee who worked for hours putting the bid together, SUSTAiN who advised the committee and the local community, councillors and MP for their support. The work will be done during July and August when there should be least disruption to the use of the centre.
